Therapy Intensives in Tennessee
A Focused Approach for Deeper, Faster Healing
Sometimes 50-minute therapy sessions just aren’t enough. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge, stuck in a pattern, or craving breakthrough — a Therapy Intensive gives you the time and space to do powerful work in a focused, supportive environment.
I offer half-day intensives for adults in Tennessee who are ready to create real movement in their healing journey.
Focused Healing Can Help You Break Through and Find Your Next Step
What Is a Therapy Intensive?
A therapy intensive is an extended session (4 hours) designed to help you go deeper into your emotional work without the usual time constraints. It allows us to move through layers of insight, regulation, and healing that would normally take weeks to reach in traditional therapy.
You’ll walk away from your intensive with:
Greater clarity about your emotional patterns
Concrete tools for regulation and self-trust
Deeper connection to your body and inner voice
A renewed sense of direction and possibility
Who Are Intensives For?
You might benefit from an intensive if:
You’ve hit a wall in regular therapy
You’re preparing for or processing a big life event
You want to do focused trauma healing work
You need help navigating a major relationship decision
You’re feeling stuck and want to break through emotional patterns
Intensives are especially helpful for those doing inner child work, boundary healing, emotional processing from past trauma, or working with high-conflict relationship dynamics.
What an Intensive Looks Like?
Before your intensive, we’ll schedule a brief consultation to clarify your focus and goals. On the day of the intensive, you’ll have a spacious, structured session that includes:
Somatic and mindfulness work
Brainspotting
Journaling or creative processing
Focused emotional exploration
Breaks for grounding and integration
Sessions are offered online and tailored to your comfort and pace.
Why Clients Choose Intensives?
Clients often tell me intensives feel like "months of therapy in one day." If you’re someone who learns and heals best through deep immersion, this format may be exactly what you’ve been needing.
You don’t need to be in ongoing therapy with me to book an intensive.
Ready for a Breakthrough?
If you’re ready for focused, transformational healing in a short amount of time, let’s talk.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Yes. Intensives are offered both online and in-person. Many clients prefer the online option because it allows them to engage in deep work from the comfort of their own home, while still using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Others value the in-person experience for the grounding presence it provides. Whichever you choose, the space will be designed to feel private, safe, and focused on you.
-
No you do not. intensives are available to both new and existing clients. If you’re already working with me, an intensive can be a powerful way to deepen our ongoing therapy. If you’re new, we’ll start with a consultation to determine your goals and ensure this format is a good fit. Please note that for therapy services, clients must reside in Tennessee to participate, whether online or in-person.

I offer both 1-day and 2-day intensive options. Each day includes 4 hours of focused therapeutic work with built-in breaks for rest and integration. A 1-day intensive is ideal for diving into a specific issue or gaining clarity around a stuck point. A 2-day intensive allows even more space to go deeper, process at a slower pace, and work through multiple layers of healing. Together, we’ll decide what length best supports your goals.
-
Before your intensive, we’ll schedule a brief meeting to clarify your intentions and identify the focus of our work together. This helps us both feel prepared and ensures the time we spend is centered on what matters most to you.
If your intensive is online, I recommend setting up a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted. Have a journal or notebook nearby, as well as anything that helps you stay grounded and comfortable — such as a blanket, tea, or calming music for breaks. You may also want headphones for privacy and to help you feel fully immersed.
If your intensive is in-person, you simply need to arrive with an open mind and anything that helps you feel comfortable during longer sessions (such as water, a favorite notebook, a small pillow, or comfortable clothing). The therapy space will be set up to be calm, supportive, and spacious, with time built in for breaks and reflection.
No matter the format, I’ll guide you through the process, helping you stay present, supported, and grounded every step of the way.

Intensives can bring up deep emotions, but the structure includes grounding, integration, and breaks to help you leave feeling steady. Many clients feel a mix of relief, clarity, and renewed energy — and I’ll provide follow-up resources to support your continued healing.
-
Yes. Couples intensives are a powerful way to step out of everyday patterns and focus deeply on your relationship. Whether you’re stuck in repetitive conflict, struggling to communicate, or wanting to reconnect, intensives give you the time and structure to make meaningful progress.

Weekly sessions often end just as you’re starting to get to the heart of things. In an intensive, you have several hours together to explore underlying issues, practice new skills, and build understanding without feeling rushed. Many couples find intensives help them achieve breakthroughs that may take months of weekly therapy.
-
Each intensive includes a follow-up session scheduled 1–2 weeks later. This session gives you space to process what came up during the intensive, ask questions, and integrate the insights and tools into your daily life. Many clients find this follow-up especially helpful for grounding their experience and deciding on next steps. You’re also welcome to continue with ongoing therapy if you’d like more consistent support.
