Hey There!
I’m Monica Jha
I’m here to help you slow down, tune in, and begin to heal.
I know how hard it can feel to carry old wounds into the present. Maybe your childhood left you feeling unseen, dismissed, or criticized and now those same patterns show up in your adult relationships. Or maybe you find yourself silencing your needs, avoiding conflict, or feeling small in love, even though what you really want is connection and clarity.
As an online holistic therapist based in Tennessee, I work with adults who are ready and committed to understanding their patterns, rebuilding trust in their voice, and creating more emotionally fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
Why I Do This Work
My own path toward emotional healing began with facing painful experiences from my childhood, difficult relationship dynamics, and a fractured relationship with myself. For over two decades, I’ve been committed to my own growth towards rebuilding self-trust, learning to embrace emotions instead of fearing them, and breaking free from cycles of avoidance.
That personal journey, combined with over a decade of clinical experience and ongoing training, shapes how I show up as a therapist. I know this work isn’t easy, and I also know it’s possible to feel more grounded, clear, and connected than you do right now.
Who I Work With
I support adults in Tennessee who are:
Healing from emotionally neglectful, abusive, or chaotic childhoods
Struggling to set boundaries or navigate guilt in relationships with parents
Feeling stuck in romantic relationships marked by confusion, conflict, or emotional manipulation
Ready to stop people-pleasing and start honoring their needs
Ready to make sense of their emotions and connect with them in a healthier way
Wanting to learn how their own childhood experiences impact the way they show up with their children
You don’t have to fit into a diagnosis to seek support. Whether you’re trying to set healthier boundaries with your parents, stop repeating painful patterns in your relationships, or raise your children with more awareness and connection, therapy can help you feel more grounded, confident, and authentic in every part of your life.
What It's Like to Work With Me?
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, direct, and challenging. You’ll have space to slow down, feel your feelings without judgment, and explore where your patterns come from and how to shift them.
You won’t get a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Instead, we’ll create a process that fits you. That might include talk therapy, mindfulness, somatic tools, inner child work, or simply making space for emotions you’ve never had permission to feel before.
You don’t have to choose between a clinical approach and a soulful one, we can do both. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, more present, and more connected to who you truly are.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside the therapy room, I love dancing, spending time with my family and my two dogs, and exploring new places. Yoga, nature, and mindfulness continue to be the practices that bring me back to myself—both as a person and as a therapist.
Let’s Take the Next Step
If you're ready to explore therapy, I offer a free 30-minute consultation so we can talk about what’s going on and see if we’re a good fit.
